Faithful Friends Senior Adult Connection
Location: Church Fellowship Hall
Details: This ministry is for those ages 50 and up. It meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM in the church fellowship hall. Garlic Clove will cater the March dinner, and the menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, bread, dessert and tea. Cost is $10 each, and the deadline to sign up is Sunday, March 14th. Renee' Miles will be the speaker.

Location: Old Church Coffee Shop
Details: This will meet Thursday, March 25th, at 6 PM and is open to all those caring for elderly parents or family members with special needs. There will be a catered meal and the cost is $8 each. Linda Thompson will be sharing her story. Sign up in the church atrium by Sunday, March 21st.

IT'S A BRAND NEW DAY! - Thank you for your ongoing patience as we continue to fine tune our new facilities and equipment. If weather permits, the front parking area will be paved this week opening up additional space. Please pray with us for God's continued guidance and presence as we move forward for His glory. SUNDAY SCHOOL CONNECTIONS - Classes for all ages meet each Sunday at 9:30 AM. Get connected!
MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - We would like to add some sound and computer techs. Contact Mike Doolittle at 706-860-0378 or mdoolittle106@comcast.net if you're interested.
CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS - 2009 contribution statements have been mailed. Please review your statement thoroughly upon receipt, and call the office at 706-364-8284, ext. 304, with any discrepancies. If you fail to receive your statement, please contact us right away. 2009 records will be closed out effective Wednesday, March 17th, and once closed they cannot be corrected.
CONNECT WITH THE CHOIR - The Sanctuary Choir is open for new members. If you're interested, see Mike Doolittle for more information.
CELEBRATE RECOVERY - If you struggle with any type of hurt, hang-up, or addictive behavior, this weekly ministry is for you! It meets every Thursday at 7 PM in the church fellowship hall. Registration isn't necessary, but you must sign up for childcare by calling the church office. For more information, please call Matt or Misty at 706-798-9260.
SPORTS PROGRAM UPDATE - Congratulations to our men's basketball team for winning 1st place in the ACAA championship! Softball begins soon for males/females ages 16+. There's practice Tuesday, March 16th, 6:30 PM, at Patriots Park on the maroon field. Sign up in the atrium.
HEARING THE VOICE OF THE SPIRIT - Plan to join us every Wednesday night in March at 7 PM as Pastor Bryan and Sharon continue this teaching series.
SUMMER CAMP FOR KIDS - Applications for campers and camp staff are available at the atrium desk. Camp is scheduled for July 26th-30th.
FAITHFUL FRIENDS - Seniors ages 50 and up are invited to join us for dinner and fellowship Thursday, March 18th, at 6:30 PM in the church fellowship hall. PARACHUTE BAND IN CONCERT - This will be a free concert at The Sanctuary on Friday, March 26th, at 7 PM. Doors will open at 6 PM. A love offering will be received. For more information call the church office.
BEST BALL GOLF TOURNAMENT - Men and women ages 13 and up are invited to play in the tournament on Saturday, March 27th, at 8 AM at Goshen Country Club. Cost is $40 each if paid by March 14th and $50 afterward. Sign up in the atrium. Call Kevin at 706-825-3364.
SINGLES' CONNECTION - Singles ages 30-50 are invited to join us for dinner and good fellowship Saturday, March 27th, at 5 PM, at the Evans Mi Rancho. Sign up in the atrium if you'd like to participate. Call Susan at 706-564-3000 if you have questions or would like more information.
EGGSTRAVAGANZA 2010 - Plans are underway for our annual Easter activity coming up Wednesday, March 31st, from 6:30 PM-8:30 PM. It's for ages 3-12 and there will be inflatable activities and games. Food will be available for purchase. We are asking for donations of plastic eggs stuffed with individually-wrapped candy (no chocolate please!) All donations are needed no later than Tuesday, March 30th. You may leave donations at the atrium desk or church office. If you are age 13 & up and would like to join the EggStravaganza staff, please sign up at the atrium desk or call Ricky at the church office. Thanks in advance for your help!

SHE EVENT FOR MOTHERS, DAUGHTERS AND FRIENDS - Watch for more details on this special night coming up Sunday, April 25th, at 6 PM. Guests will be Rebecca St. James and Evie Tornquist. Tickets available soon.
SELF-RELEASE FOR 4TH-6TH GRADES - Parents of 4th-6th graders may choose to have their child released at the end of service without a parent present. To arrange for your child to participate in self-release, please pick up a form from the children's check-in desk.
SERVICE ETIQUETTE AT THE SANCTUARY - Thank you for your assistance in making our worship services a time where all attention is placed on the Lord. You can help us by following these guidelines:
- Please turn off cell phones and pagers before entering the auditorium.
- Please do not leave or move around during prayer or the altar call.
- Please take crying or disruptive children to the lobby. A nursery is available for children birth up to 4 years. Children's Church is available for ages 4-12.
- If you know you will need to leave the service early, please sit in the back row of a section near an exit.

If you leave the auditorium during service and need to re-enter, please sit near the back.

TAPES OF SERVICES AVAILABLE - CD's of our Sunday services are now available at the lobby desk for $3 each.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY SECURITY BADGE CHECKS - In order to avoid singling out newcomers we may not recognize, the children's ministry and nursery departments have a 100% badge check policy. This means that all parents must show their badges when picking up their kids. Thank you for your understanding!
HELP US TAKE CARE OF OUR FACILITY - Please help us keep our building in good condition by remembering the following guidelines: All beverages and food should be confined to the coffee shop. For safety reasons, there should be no Healy's (shoes with wheels) used inside the building. Thank you!
