Location:  Stonecrest Steakhouse in Evans
Details:  The seniors will meet for lunch and fellowship at Stonecrest on Wednesday, March 10th, at 12:15.  Everyone will order off the menu, with many lunch items under $10.  Sign up in the church atrium to attend.

Faithful Friends Senior Adult Connection
Location:  Church Fellowship Hall
Details:  This ministry is for those ages 50 and up. It meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM in the church fellowship hall.  Garlic Clove will cater the March dinner, and the menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, bread, dessert and tea.  Cost is $10 each, and the deadline to sign up is Sunday, March 14th.  Renee' Miles will be the speaker.

Details:  This tournament is for men and women ages 13 and up.  It will be Saturday, March 27th, at 8 AM.  Cost is $40 each if paid by March 14th and $50 afterward.  Sign up and pay in the church atrium.

  • IT'S A BRAND NEW DAY! - Progress continues as we work to fine tune all our new equipment and settle into the facilities. Thank you for your ongoing patience! February is the first month that average attendance has been consistently over 600. Please pray with us for God's guidance and presence as we move forward for His glory.   • SUNDAY SCHOOL CONNECTIONS - Classes for all ages meet each Sunday at 9:30 AM. Get connected!

  • MINISTRY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED - We would like to add some sound and computer techs. Contact Mike Doolittle at 706-860-0378 or mdoolittle106@comcast.net if you're interested.

  • CONTRIBUTION STATEMENTS - 2009 contribution statements have been mailed. Please review your statement thoroughly upon receipt, and call the office at 706-364-8284, ext. 304, with any discrepancies. If you fail to receive your statement, please contact us right away. 2009 records will be closed out effective Wednesday, March 17th, and once closed they cannot be corrected.

  • CONNECT WITH THE CHOIR - The Sanctuary Choir is open for new members. If you're interested, see Mike Doolittle for more information.

  • CELEBRATE RECOVERY -  If you struggle with any type of hurt, hang-up, or addictive behavior, this weekly ministry is for you! It meets every Thursday at 7 PM in the church fellowship hall. Registration isn't necessary, but you must sign up for childcare by calling the church office. For more information, please call Matt or Misty at 706-798-9260.

  • KIDZ MINISTRIES - The children's program offered during Sunday School wants to add two staff members for Bible Challenge. This class encourages the children in Bible reading and study and preparation for quiz questions. There are around 15 students from 1st-5th grades. Those interested may fill out an application at the atrium desk.

  • CAMP STAFF MEETING - There will be a summer camp planning meeting on Monday, March 8th, from 7-8 PM in the new coffee shop. This is for last year's staff and others 16 and up interested in volunteering. There's a place for all ages to help, including seniors. Areas of need include counselors, recreation, kitchen, canteen, runners, registration and crafts. Summer camp is July 26th-30th.

  • MOM'S CONNECTION - All moms of kids elementary-aged and under are welcome to join us for dinner and/or dessert at Ruby Tuesday on Monday, March 8th, at 7 PM. Call Brooke at 706-825-1752 for more information.

  • SENIOR CONNECTION - Ages 50 and up will meet for lunch and fellowship on Wednesday, March 10th, 12:15 PM at Stonecrest Steakhouse. Sign up by Sunday, March 7th. 

  • HEARING THE VOICE OF THE SPIRIT - Plan to join us every Wednesday night in March at 7 PM as Pastor Bryan and Sharon continue this teaching series.

  • DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME - Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday, March 14th! Remember to set your clocks ahead one hour before bed on Saturday night, March 13th.

  • FAITHFUL FRIENDS - Seniors ages 50 and up are invited to join us for dinner and fellowship Thursday, March 18th, at 6:30 PM in the church fellowship hall.   • EGGSTRAVAGANZA 2010 - Plans are underway for our annual Easter activity coming up Wednesday, March 31st, from 6:30 PM-8:30 PM. It's for ages 3-12 and there will be inflatable activities and games. Food will be available for purchase. We are asking for donations of plastic eggs stuffed with individually-wrapped candy (no chocolate please!) All donations are needed no later than Tuesday, March 30th. You may leave donations at the atrium desk or church office. If you are age 13 & up and would like to join the EggStravaganza staff, please sign up at the atrium desk or call Ricky at the church office. Thanks in advance for your help!

  • SELF-RELEASE FOR 4TH-6TH GRADES - Parents of 4th-6th graders may choose to have their child released at the end of service without a parent present. To arrange for your child to participate in self-release, please pick up a form from the children's check-in desk.

  • SERVICE ETIQUETTE AT THE SANCTUARY - Thank you for your assistance in making our worship services a time where all attention is placed on the Lord. You can help us by following these guidelines:
    • Please turn off cell phones and pagers before entering the auditorium.
    • Please do not leave or move around during prayer or the altar call.
    • Please take crying or disruptive children to the lobby. A nursery is available for children birth up to 4 years. Children's Church is available for ages 4-12.
    • If you know you will need to leave the service early, please sit in the back row of a section near an exit.
    • If you leave the auditorium during service and need to re-enter, please sit near the back.

  • TAPES OF SERVICES AVAILABLE - CD's of our Sunday services are now available at the lobby desk for $3 each.

  • ONLINE GIVING AVAILABLE - We can now accept donations thru our website using MasterCard, Visa or electronic checks. Visit www.thesanctuaryofaugusta.org for more information.

  • CHILDREN'S MINISTRY SECURITY BADGE CHECKS - In order to avoid singling out newcomers we may not recognize, the children's ministry and nursery departments have a 100% badge check policy. This means that all parents must show their badges when picking up their kids. Thank you for your understanding!

  • HELP US TAKE CARE OF OUR FACILITY - Please help us keep our building in good condition by remembering the following guidelines: All beverages and food should be confined to the coffee shop. For safety reasons, there should be no Healy's (shoes with wheels) used inside the building. Thank you!
